Uzbekistan releases data on Asia Alliance bank's revenues via payment terminals

TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 26. Revenues through payment terminals from Uzbekistan’s Asia Alliance bank amounted to 1.71 trillion soums ($134.7 million) from January through February 2024, Trend reports.

According to data from the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, the bank's payment terminal revenues accounted for 3.6 percent of overall bank revenues in Uzbekistan during this period.

Uzbekistan's payment terminal revenues totaled 47.5 trillion soums ($3.7 billion).

At the same time, Asia Alliance bank built 7,869 payment terminals across the country, and the number of bank cards in circulation reached 450,607 from January through February 2024.

Meanwhile, a total of 430,264 payment terminals were installed in Uzbekistan from January through February 2024. The volume of revenues through payment terminals reached 47.5 trillion soums ($3.7 billion) during this period.

At the same time, the number of installed ATMs and infokiosks in the country totaled 26,917 from January through February 2024, while the number of bank cards in circulation in Uzbekistan amounted to 47.1 million.
