Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Ilhamgizi / The Azerbaijani opposition Open Society party are developing a set of proposals to stabilize relations between the Authorities and the opposition, Yagub Abbasov, the Deputy Chairman of the party, said.
"Existing traditional relations between the Authorities and opposition do not give positive results. We want to form relations based on mutual trust and to end hostility," Abbasov said to Trend news agency.
The chairman of the Open Society party Akif Shahbazov will go to the United States to meet with the leader of the party, Rasul Guliyev, at the beginning of 2008.
The Open Society party was founded in April 2007. Guliyev is the leader of the party.
