Azerbaijan, Lankaran, Dec. 23 / Trend , P.Aliyeva/ A resident of Jalilabad region (230km south of Baku) wanting to sale the smuggled drugs from Iran to south of Azerbaijan has been arrested.
The Jalilabad Region Police Office detained Jalal Huseynov, twenty seven-year old resident of Lallar village of the region, while selling 1.215kg of heroin to a conditional customer for AZN 18,000 ($22,500), the Southern Regional Department of the Interior Ministry's Counter Drug Office told Trend on Dec. 23.
The regional police office filed a lawsuit on this case. The investigations are determining Huseynov's joint offenders.
Huseynov said that he smuggled heroin from Iran, the police office said.
