Azerbaijan, Baku, June 4 / Trend , E.Ostapenko / Secretary of State for Strategic Affairs of Foreign Ministry of Romania Bogdan Auresku is expected to visit Baku on June 9-10, the Ambassador of Romania Nicolae Ureki told Trend on June 4.
"Secretary of State will discuss the issues of bilateral relations, as well as regional and international security," said Ureki.
During the visit, there are plans to hold consultations on security with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Araz Azimov, as well as meetings with Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and head of international relations department of the Presidential Administration Novruz Mammadov.
On the first day of his visit, the Secretary of State will make a speech at the International School of NATO regarding the role of the North Atlantic Alliance in the 21st century, said Ureki.
On June 10, Auresku will attend the NATO conference on "Energy Security: Challenges and Prospects."
