Elections control organization launches its activity in Iran

The Control Council of Iran stated that the election control organization launched its activity on June 10, Mehr news agency reported.

"All candidates' representatives can participate in the organization's activity during the presidential elections on June 12," Press Secretary of the Control Council of Iran Abbasali Kadhudayn said at a news conference.

Kadhudayn said during the elections, members of the election control organization will contact with representatives of the organization in provinces, cities, settlements and villages of Iran.

"In the case of receiving complaints about illegal actions in the election, the results will be announced after investigating the fact," he said.

Besides, members of the election control organization, any citizen of Iran can inform the Control Council about illegal actions, he said.

Iran will hold the presidential elections on June 12. The candidates' pre-election campaign will stop at 08:00 on June 11.
