Territory is being cleaned at former target ground of Soviet Army in Guzdek settlement of Baku's Garadag region.
There operations will be conducted by Azerbaijani national agency for mine cleaning at 400,000 square meter area. There 22 barns filled with unexploded mines. Group of mine-detectors and group on unexploded ammunition participate in this operation, ANAMA said on June 10.
Ammunition was thrown at territory and posed danger for local residents early 1990 as a result of explosion and fire in barn. Territory was considered as dangerous. ANAMA launched operations from June upon Azerbaijani government's decison.
ANAMA was established to clean Azerbaijani teritory from mines in 1998.
