Georgian ex-Premier demands government to stop military rhetoric

The Movement for Justice of Georgia categorically demands from the government to stop military rhetoric, one of the leaders of the party Levan Roinishvili said at today's press conference. "It's time to stop talking about the war that comes from the personal interests of government and begin to protect the interests of the country," he said.

"War rhetoric allows government to keep its face after tragic consequences of war and fear among the population, which is particularly felt in the Shida Kartli. This reflects a conflict between the interests of today's power and interests of the country," Roinishvili said.

According to Chairman Zurab Nogaideli, the military rhetoric of the Government, for any provocation, followed by a response from Russia

"The military rhetoric is underway and military equipment and weapons for about 900 million lari have been purchased. Because of Saakashvili's cowardice we lost the war and another war is an increase in the number of refugees, the loss of even large areas, and we must to utmost to avoid it," he said.
