Turkmen President Gurbangulu Berdimuhammedov signed a decree to dismiss Begmirad Hojamuhammedov from the position of governor of the Azatlyk region of Ashgabat for serious shortcomings in the work.
Under the decree, deputy governor Shikhmirat Gapurov was appointed governor of the Azatlyk region of Ashgabat. At present Ashgabat is experiencing a construction boom.
The companies are building governmental facilities, student blocks, a business-City, the Olympic village, increasing the housing stock and reconstructing infrastructure of highways, power plants and etc.
