GUAM establishes regional security committee

The GUAM Parliamentary Assembly created a new committee to work on regional security issues during its fourth meeting, GUAM Secretary General Valeri Chechelashvili told journalists in Tbilisi.
Chechelashvili is attending the fourth session of GUAM in Tbilisi at the Sheraton Metechi Palace.
According to the diplomat, GUAM held a closed meeting today at which the parties adopted a joint communique.
"This verifies that GUAM countries do not accept aggression as a norm of international relations. We condemn aggression in international relations," he said.
