History of Azerbaijan's diplomacy will be discussed in New Delhi at an international conference.
Conference devoted to the 90th anniversary of the Azerbaijani diplomacy will be held on Dec.3, Azerbaijani Ambassador to India Tamerlan Garayev told Trend on Nov.25.
The delegation headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Vagif Sadikhov will represent Azerbaijan at the conference. The delegation also will include Azerbaijani MP Govhar Bakhshaliyeva.
Decision on establishment of the Secretariat of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry was adopted on 9 July 1919.
In 2007, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree to approve the Azerbaijani diplomat's Day, commemorated each year on July 9.
