An Azerbaijani citizen - Al-Qaeda member was arrested in Afghanistan.
Resident of Baku Siraj Agafaraj, accused of collaboration with Al-Qaeda, was arrested in Afghanistan by officials of the Afghan Ministry of National Security, the Afghan agency "Avapress" reported.
Siraj Agafaraj was arrested when he tried to blow himself up in Afghan province Hosht, the report said. He is a member of al-Qaeda's wing Sirajeddin Haggani. During the preliminary investigation, he confessed that he arrived in Kuwaita, Pakistan, from Baku to get religious education. Then he went to Mir Ali region of Pakistan. He was military trained there during a year and a half.
