The Azerbaijani People's Socialist Party (APSP) has launched to determine constituencies from where candidates will be nominated for seats in the parliament. The parliamentary elections will be held in 2010, APSP deputy chairman on public relations, Rustam Shahsuvarov told Trend today.

The parliamentary elections will be held in autumn. The previous elections were held in Nov. 2005.

"The party actively expands its international cooperation. The party chairman held a meeting with Cuban ambassador to Azerbaijan Marcelo Caballero Torres on Jan.7," he said.

Shahsuvarov stressed that the development of the Party's inter-relations will promote the Forum of the Left forces scheduled for late January. It will be organized by the socialists, communists and left democrats.
