Azerbaijani customs officers have seized 13.8 kg poor and unhealthy coffee produced in Armenia in 2009.
Customs authorities also prevented the importation of gun of "Glock-19" and 31 nine-millimeters long cartridges for it , 45 cartridge, two radio equipment for military use, 1 334 mobile phones, 1 038 religious books, 6 695 DVD, 14 kg black caviar, 500 liters of oil products, said in the State Customs Committee' report for 2009.
3 005 facts of law violation have been revealed during this period.
The report says that 162 criminal facts have been revealed as a result of which smuggling worth AZN 688,686 have been seized.
Appropriate measures on 160 people's criminal prosecution have been held.
As a result of held operational activities, 43 kg 118 grams of mercury were seized from illegal trafficking.
Over 1.640 million cigarettes, 113 liters of alcohol, 9 480 bottles of foreign liquor production without excise stamps have been seized
