A NATO-Georgia Commission meeting will be held tomorrow. All important issues within Georgia’s annual program will be considered. The meeting will discuss how Georgia fulfills its obligations under the individual program.

A NATO-Georgia Commission meeting will be held tomorrow. All important issues within Georgia's annual program will be considered. The meeting will discuss how Georgia fulfills its obligations under the individual program.

State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Giorgi Baramidze said that NATO will approve a 2010 action plan for Georgia in late January.

He said that the action plan for 2010 has been already sent to the Alliance and consultations with partner NATO partner countries are underway.

"For us is very important to continue the reforms that draw Georgia closer the organization. For this, we draw up an annual action plan and a draft plan for 2010 is already ready. Currently, consultations are underway, and observations and recommendations will be taken into account in accordance with the procedures in the near future," Baramidze said.

The aim of the plan is to strengthen military reforms, media freedom, democratic elections and strengthening anti-corruption activities.
