Turkmenistan hosted the presentation of the book "Heydar Aliyev" in the Turkmen language. The work is dedicated to the life of Azerbaijani national leader and former President Heydar Aliyev.
The book was translated into Turkmen by the Azerbaijani Embassy, and published by the Turkmen State Publishing Service, Azerbaijani Ambassador Vahdat Sultan-Zade told Trend.
Representatives of the Turkmen Presidential Administration, the Foreign Ministry, the Academy of Sciences, the Turkmen Presidential Institute of Human Rights and Democracy, the Culture Ministry and media outlets attended the presentation ceremony.
The event was held with the support of the Azerbaijani Embassy and the Turkmen Xezer Yollari company.
Azerbaijani Parliamentary Committee Chairman Hadi Rajabli, the book's author Huseynbala Miralamov, and representatives of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, as well as foreign embassies accredited in Turkmenistan, took part in the event.
Afilm about Aliyev was also screened at the event.
