Hungary hosts "Scientific presentation of culture of Azerbaijan" (PHOTO)

Azerbaijani Embassy in Hungary and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism held in Budapest in the universities of Eotvos Loránd and Corvinus activities entitled "Scientific presentation of Azerbaijani Culture", the embassy told Trend on Thursday.
During the activities experts who were sent to Hungary by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, delivered lectures in these universities to students and faculty covering various areas of the Azerbaijani culture.
Management of universities, well-known experts in the humanities and cultural studies attended the activities along with many students.
Addressing the meeting, Ambassador Vilayat Guliyev noted the importance of "scientific presentation of Azerbaijani culture" in terms of promoting Azerbaijani culture, informing students about Azerbaijan in Hungary.
He said work in this direction will continue in the future.
Head of the scientific-methodical sector of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Asif Usubaliyev delivered a lecture "The main priorities of the cultural policy in Azerbaijan", the director of the Institute of Philosophy, Sociology and Law of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), doctor of philosophical sciences Ilham Mammadzaded - "Some problems of international scientific cooperation and development of social sciences in Azerbaijan". In their lectures, they touched on issues of cultural policy in Azerbaijan, major events in the sphere of culture, activity of ANAS, the development of science in Azerbaijan and other issues.
Associate Professor of the Azerbaijan National Conservatory Ilham Najafov in his lecture "Musical Culture of Azerbaijan" gave detailed information on the national music of Azerbaijan, national wind musical instruments, rendered a live performance on such instruments as her pipe, balaban, zurna.
The Azerbaijani delegation met with management of universities of Eotvos Loránd and Corvinus and discussed the direction and scope of future cooperation.
