Meeting with Slovenian delegation held in Azerbaijan's Ministry of Emergency Situations

The Azerbaijani Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov met with a Slovenian delegation led by the Mayor of Ljubljana Zoran Jankovic, as well as with the Slovenian Defence Minister Roman Jakic, the Minister of Economic Development and Technology Stanko Stepishnik on Friday.
During the meeting, Heydarov provided the guest with the information about the work carried out in the sphere of prevention and elimination of the outcomes of emergency situations. Detailed information was given about the ministry's activity, as well as the necessity of strengthening cooperation between the relevant structures of both countries, the official website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
The guests for their part noted that they are interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan and that holding such meetings plays an important role in expanding relations between the two countries. The guests also expressed their hope that these meetings will create great opportunities in the future for both states.
The significance of the permanent exchange of ideas and experience were mentioned and other issues of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting.
