President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today attended the opening of a bridge over the Cholpan River in Gadabay District.
Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov informed the President that the construction of the bridge started in November, 2012, and ended in September, 2013.
The facility is 95 meters in length, and 14 meters in width.
The Head of State watched a documentary on the construction work and landscaping in Gadabay.
The President was also informed about the newly remodelled Gadabay-Novosaratovka-Garavalilar highway.
The two-lane Gadabay-Novosaratovka section of the highway is 27 km in length, and 7 meters in width. The reconstruction work has already ended on this stretch.
The two-lane Novosaratovka-Garavalilar stretch of the road will be 29 km in length, and 6 meters in width. The reconstruction work is underway here.
