The 11th meeting - Azerbaijan-Turkey high-level military dialogue - has completed in Turkey’s Ankara city, Trend reports referring to the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry on Dec. 20.
The current prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey in the military, military-technical, military-medical, military-educational and other fields, including the issues of strengthening friendly relations between the armies of the two countries were discussed during the meeting.
The main directions of the activity have been determined for solving the upcoming tasks and an action plan for 2019 has been coordinated during the meeting.
At the end of the meeting, the protocols were signed.
Azerbaijan was represented by Deputy Minister of Defense for Personnel, Chief of the Main Directorate for Personnel, Lieutenant-General Kerim Veliyev, while the Turkish side by Second Chief of the General Staff, Corps General Metin Gurak.
The 12th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Turkey High-Level Military Dialogue in this format is planned to be held in Baku in late 2019.
