DJANMIRZA MIRZOYEV MAY COME BACK TO BAKU

On 15 August Djanmirza Mirzoyev, living in Holland as political emigrant, will return to Baku, Mirzoyev himself told Trend. The naval commander, a former head of the High Naval School Mirzoyev was arrested in 2000 as, allegedly, the orderer of the admiral Eduard Husseynov assassination and was sentenced to 8 years of imprisonment. On 10 May 2004 he was pardoned by the President. Starting with July 2004 Mirzoyev appealed to the local judicial bodies for getting the justificative sentence.

Having not achieved positive results on restoring his rights, on 24 December 2004 Mirzoyev left first for Strasbourg, from there to Holland to his emigrated family for preparation of documents he was going to submit to the European Court, and for signing the contract with lawyers. Mirzoyev, currently residing in Holland, reported, that he has completed preparation of the most part of his documents.

В"For the period of my stay here, I collaborated with some local lawyers. The lawyer, I concluded the contract lately, is Maxim Ferstmann. Furthermore, in connection with my affairs I held relevant meetings at the Foreign Ministry of Netherlands. I will be back in Baku in regard to some papers”, Mirzoyev said.
