The head of the Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry Elmar Mammadyarov plans to discuss the current situation around the Armenian Azerbaijani conflict settlement in Strasburg, where he is staying on a two-day visit, the head of the Information and Press department of the Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry Tair Tagizade told Trend.
According to him, this subject will be in the focus of attention at todays talks with the chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Rene van der Linden and the PACE Secretary General Bruno Haller. Then sides will also discuss the issues of development of relations with the Council of Europe (CE), expanding of mutual actions, the situation and the problems the regional states face, in particular Azerbaijan and etc, Tagizade added.
On the first day of his visit on 20 January the Foreign Minister met with the CE Secretary General Terry Davis and the PACE Secretariat political director Matias Sorinas.
