A final report of the OSCE on the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan will be ready shortly, Urdur Guuarsdotter, a press secretary of the OSCE ODIHR told Radio Liberty, Trend reports.
He refuted the rumors which urge that the publication of the report was delayed due to political reasons.
There is no delay in the development of the report. The elections process in Azerbaijan ended early December 2005, while the development of report requires at least 6-8 weeks, Gunnarsdotter underlined.
The OSCE do snot hold discussion on the content of the report. We simply summarize the recommendations, which we will include in the report, Gunnarsdotter stressed.
OSCE did not accept a resolution on participation in the observation over the by-elections scheduled for 13 May 2006.
