The oil pumping via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export oil pipeline will be ceased for 10 days in the end of June, Trend reports citing David Woodward, the BP Azerbaijan President.
He explained it with the definite work in the pipeline, which is needed for completion of its program. Afterwards the pipeline will start functioning in an uninterrupted regime.
According to Woodward, the oil pumping via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline (the northern route) will be continued by the end of the year. Now approximately 200,000 barrels of oil is pumped via the BTC a day. The June program on oil deliveries has not been designed yet. The next tanker will be delivered after the 20th of June, while the volume of the cargo is still to be determined, he underlined.
The third vessel with oil cargo of BP can be shipped from Ceyhan on 13 July, in the course of the opening ceremony of a terminal in Ceyhan, Woodward underlined.
