The book by the corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (NASA), professor Vagif Abbasov, titled "Lessons from the life of the great, wise and conquerors" in commemoration of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was presented in Azerbaijan.
The book describes 19 personalities - the great conquerors, scientists and thinkers. The book tells about the Prophet Muhammad, Attila, Ibn Sina, Osman Gazi, Nasreddin Tusi, Mehmet, Amir Teimur, Isaac Newton, Ataturk, Heydar Aliyev, Theodore Roosevelt and others.
"The book, written by Vagif Abbasov, is a scientific-research work, and people whom it describes have been selected by the author who wrote about them from his point of view," the vice-president of NASA Arif Hashimov said, addressing the presentation. According to him, despite that numerous encyclopedic books have been written about the great personalities, a new approach was made in the book " Lessons from the life of the great, wise and conquerors".
"The book tells about people who left their mark in world history. To explore each of these great people, it needs to read many books, but the book" Lessons from the life of the great, wise, and conquerors" provides extensive information," said the author of the foreword of the book, MP Ganira Pashayeva.
Pashayeva called on young people to read the book and take an example from those people described in the book. Speaking at the presentation, philologist Jahangir Mammadli said Vagif Abbasov promotes science, and this book is a proof of this.

"Lessons from Heydar Aliyev's life should be an example for everyone, and young people should attentively study these lessons," said the author.
