The Iranian city of Mashhad will host the first "Healthy travel" conference of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) on Nov.2-4, the MEHR news agency reported.
Representatives of the 57 OIC member-countries, officials of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), the OIC health ministers, and the heads of the Iranian hospitals and tourism companies will attend the event.
The conference is aimed to increase the quality of health care services in the Islamic countries, approve the standards on the visits paid to the OIC member-states for medical reasons and ensure the needs of the patients and organizations to organize such visits.
