Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend E.Huseynli / Umayra Tagyeva, the Deputy Director of the Azerbaijani National Meteorology Department at the Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry, stated on 22 June that the weather in Azerbaijan would be relatively stable and that the temperature would increase by several degrees.
According to Tagyeva, the weather in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula will stabilize and the temperature will increase to 31C or 35C in the afternoons.
The South-Westerly winds will be replaced by North-Westerly ones on 24 June.
Short-term rains are expected in different regions of Azerbaijan.
The maximum temperature in the Aran lowland will be 31C to 36C, and in the mountain regions 21C to 26C.
