BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 5

By Sadraddin Aghjayev – Trend:

Azerbaijan’s PulPal payment system will in the near future launch a mobile application on the local market, which is a smartphone-based electronic POS terminal, PulPal company’s founder Emin Sultanov told Trend on May 5.

According to Sultanov, the launch of this app will allow local entrepreneurs to expand the acceptance of non-cash payments.

"Entrepreneurs will be able to accept non-cash payments through a phone and they won't have to pay a monthly subscription fee for using a POS terminal," he said.

Besides, according to the company's founder, PulPal solutions are aimed at reducing additional costs for entrepreneurs.

“PulPal is simultaneously developing solutions that are planned to be launched in foreign markets, and if a legal basis for launching such projects in Azerbaijan is established, the company will offer them in the local market,” added Sultanov.
