(dpa) - The price for crude oil produced by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) continued its upward trend by mid-week, OPEC said on Wednesday.
One barrel (159 litres) of crude produced by OPEC member states stood at 101.89 dollars on Tuesday, up 0.73 dollars from the previous day.
OPEC calculates an average basket price derived from 13 important brands produced by cartel members.
