The price for oil produced by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) fell to 41.52 dollars Tuesday, the Vienna-based organization said Wednesday.
One barrel (159 litres) of OPEC-produced crude dropped by 1.12 dollars Tuesday, compared with the previous day.
The cartel's basket price is based on 12 brands produced by its members, reported dpa.
