Georgia, Tbilisi, Nov. 30 /Trend, N.Kirtskhalia/

Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili has dismissed all employees of the State Maritime Administration, Saakashvili himself said today at a meeting with government representatives. According to him, the problems existing in the Maritime Administration will be investigated by the prosecutor's office of Georgia.

The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Affairs, Head of Integrated Transport Administration and other government representatives.

According to the President, the reason for dismissal was that the EU countries have named the Georgian shipping company in the "black list", because of which the Georgian seamen can not work on ships in the EU. Another reason for the dismissal of the Administration's employees are the problems in the Administration. However, the problems themselves were not disclosed.

European maritime organizations refuse to cooperate with the Georgian seamen, since they do not recognize diplomas issued in Georgia.

It turned out that these problems were not known to the Prime Minister Nika Gilauri, as the former economy minister did not provide relevant information.
