In July, in Azerbaijan, producer prices for agricultural products declined by 0.2 percent compared to the previous month, the State Statistics Committee said on Friday.

In July, prices for the production of annual crops fell by 1.7 percent, perennial - 1.8 percent. In particular, wheat prices fell by 4.1 percent, potatoes - 1.6 percent, cucumbers - 4.3 percent, tomatoes - 2.3 percent, eggplant - 24.3 per cent, Bulgarian pepper - 41.6 percent, the green bow - 2.1 percent, haricot - 3.1 percent.

The producer prices for onions rose by 4.2 percent, watermelons and melons - 13.8 per cent, garlic - 3.6 per cent, clover - 10.5 per cent, dry grass - 0.2 percent.

Of the perennial producer prices for apples fell by 9.1 percent, pears - 6.4 percent, peaches - 2.6 percent, apricots - 1.3 percent, plum - 2.6 percent, plums and sloes - 0.8 percent , hazelnuts (filberts) - 2.3 percent. Growth of producer prices for lemon was 1.9 percent, strawberries - 0.2 percent, cherries - 5.2 percent.

Production prices for livestock products have increased in July compared to the previous month as a whole by 1.4 percent. Prices for veal fell by one percent, buffalo meat - 1.4 percent, pork (live weight) - 0.1 percent, turkey - 1.2 percent, cow's milk - 0.1 percent.

The production price of mutton increased by 0.7 per cent, beef - 2.6 percent, poultry (live weight) - 4.1 percent, eggs - 10.9 percent, natural honey - 0.5 percent.

In July, there was an increase in prices for fish and fishery products by 0.6 percent.
