Prices on industrial goods increase in Kazakhstan

Prices on industrial goods and services in Kazakhstan decreased by 0.1 percent in April 2018 compared to the previous month, and 2.4 percent compared to the beginning of 2018, the Statistics Committee of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan said in a message.

Since the beginning of 2018, prices in the refining sector increased by 2.8 percent, in mining sector - by 2 percent.

Prices on industrial goods, produced in Kazakhstan, increased by 2.1 percent in the mentioned period, prices on industrial services increased by 5.9 percent.

Fuel in the Kazakh market went up by 10.3 percent, natural gas - by 5.6 percent, coal - by 3.3 percent, metal ore - by 3.1 percent, oil - by 1.5 percent, gasoline - 0.4 percent, and liquefied propane and butane fell by 2.2 percent.

The increase in prices also covered ferroalloys - by 15.3 percent, ferrous metals - by 5.9 percent, and zinc - by 0.7 percent.

Prices on aluminum, lead, copper, precious metals, in turn, decreased.
