Azerbaijan's Zagatala hazelnut processing factory plans to start exporting its products to the Swiss market in 2019, the company told Trend.
The company noted that its products are currently exported to Italy and Russia.
Presently, hazelnut exports account for over 1,500 tons of finished products annually, but next year the exports may be increased to 2,800-3,000 tons, the company said.
In 2018, the company established cooperation with several new Italian partners, and plans to expand its exports to the European country in the future.
The products of the factory have a certificate of conformity issued by the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan.
The factory also has a confirmation code (AZE 6231 120) for exporting products to the EU countries.
The company uses modern equipment of Turkish production.
