Iran's Tabas Parvadeh Coal company breaks 3 new records

Tabas Parvadeh Coal Company, located in Tabas County of Iran’s eastern South Khorasan Province, broke a record in the field of extraction, production and sale of coal last Iranian year (started March 21, 2018), Trend reports referring to the website of Iranian Mines & Mining Industries Development & Renovation (IMIDRO).

According to the report, Tabas Parvadeh Coal Company broke a record in Iranian coal industry by mining 1,347 million tons of coal, producing 633,000 tons of coal concentrate, and selling 640,000 tons of products.

Tabas Parvadeh Coal Company was the leading coal mining company of Iran in 2014-2017 and managed to renew its record for the 5th time last year.

Tabas Parvadeh Coal Company is the largest producer of its kind in Iran, owning more than 76 percent of the country's coal reserves.

So far, about 8 million tons of coal has been extracted and about 4 million tons of coal concentrate have been produced.

According to the company officials, 7,600 meters of mining, the extraction of 1.2 million tons of coal and production of 600,000 tons of concentrate are to be fulfilled this year.
