Kazakhstan's GDP growth index exceeds 103%

Index of industrial production of Kazakhstan’s GDP amounted to 103.8 percent in 1Q2019 compared to the same period of last year, Trend reports with reference to Committee of Statistics of Kazakhstan.

Thus, the value of GDP equaled to 13.2 trillion tenge, compared to 11.8 trillion tenge of the same period of last year. Some 12.1 trillion tenge of the sum accounts for gross value added, whereas 1.1 trillion tenge accounts for net tax.

Some 55.5 percent of the GDP structure accounts for production services and 36.3 percent for production of goods. Furthermore, 30.8 percent accounts for industry, 3.4 percent for construction, and 2.1 percent for agriculture, forestry and fisheries.

GDP in market prices represents the end result of the production activities of resident producers.

Index of industrial production of GDP indicates the change in the volume of production of goods and services in the economy for a certain period.
