The plant for the production of aluminum corks will be built Jumpstart LLC in Tbilisi, Trend reports citing commersant.ge.
For the project, more than 11 million lari will be invested. According to the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, the new plant will be equipped with high-tech equipment and it willemploy 25 people.
National Agency for State Property of Georgia transferred to Jumpstart LLC about 33,682 square meters for the construction of the enterprise. Land and buildings on it were given at the symbolic price of one lari.
Aluminum cork with a plastic rim is used for the bottles of mineral and fresh water of the highest quality and other non-alcoholic beverages.
Jumpstart LLC plans to produce 200 million aluminum corks per year, which will significantly allow to significantly reduce the volume of imported product, the report said.
