Agricultural subsidies will be issued to Azerbaijani farmers in cashless form, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Ilham Guliyev said at a press conference Sept. 2, Trend reports.
He said that cards for cashless payments of subsidies will be issued to farmers before the end of this year.
“The cards will be issued free of charge,” he noted. “Farmers will be able to use 25 percent of the amount on the balance of the card in cash form, and 75 percent in cashless form. These cards are created specifically for farmers, and they will be issued by Kapital Bank.”
