Indonesia's ambassador to Iran Octavino Alimudin said that necessary arrangements for issuing visas to Iranian businessmen have been made for issuing visas for Iran's businessmen in order to increase interactions.
"Indonesia and Iran have made efforts to prepare the ground for increasing exports in order to expand mutual cooperation,” ambassador Octavino Alimudin said on Dec. 12 at National Export Day held in Kerman city, Trend reports citing IRNA.
The ambassador noted that crops, figs and dates are exported from Iran to the country; however, the exports-imports between the two countries are less than expected.
“In the years ahead, we hope to meet more exporters, traders and businessmen from Iran in Indonesia,” Alimudin added.
"With the support of the Kerman Province's Chamber of Commerce, we can see many Kermani products being exported to Indonesia," the ambassador said.
The National Export Day and the Exporters' Conference of Kerman Province have been held at the Kerman Chamber of Commerce.
