The value of Azerbaijani products export to Romania for 10M2020 amounted to $73 million, up by 23.8 percent year on year, Trend reports citing the statistical bulletin of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.
According to the bulletin, thus, the share of Romania in Azerbaijan’s total export rose from 0.35 percent (recorded in 10M2019) to 0.6 percent.
As of early November 2020, the import of Romanian products to Azerbaijan decreased to $50.2 million (2.3 percent) compared to $51.4 million (the indicator is shown in the same period of last year). Romania’s share in the total import of Azerbaijan declined from 0.45 percent to 0.57 percent.
The volume of foreign trade operations between the two countries made up $123.2 million, which is 11.6 percent more than in the same period of last year.
Thus, the balance of foreign trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Romania for the reporting period remained positive, equaling $22.75 million.
In general, from January through October 2020, the foreign trade turnover of Azerbaijan made up over $21 billion, down by 25.7 percent year on year.
