“The number of POS-terminals grows. POS-terminal functions at custom station in Sumgayit from 26 October, one more terminal will be commissioned at Heydar Aliyev international airport soon,” Elmar Sadikhov, the head of AzeriCard Company.
“Besides, there is POS-terminal at central custom and one more at Sulu-Tapa custom station,” he added.
According to Aliyev, a total amount of payments makes up around 200bn manats per month. “Custom payments through cards comprise millions of manats. The Custom Committtee and we determined plan on increase of custom payments to 75% or 150bn manats. Around 50bn-manat payments will be realized by transferring,” he said.
It is carried out in accordance with the Presidential decree on strengthening of anti-inflation measures (9th item).
