Ukraine Offers  Kazakhstan and   Azerbaijan to Participate in Oil Refinery

Ukraine, Kiev, 22 May / corr Trend Z.Novosvitskiy / Ukraine has offered Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan to consider a possibility to participate in implementation of a project in oil refinery in its territory, Ukrainian President Victor Yushchenko stated in his opening remarks at an international forum within the Energy Summit in Kiev.

Yushchenko said that Ukraine is interested in the development of oil refinery field and offers Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan to study the opportunities to reconstruct the existing, as well as the construction of oil refinery plants.

The Ukrainian President said that the issue on possible use of Ukrainian underground gas reservoirs for prospects of more reliable gas deliveries to Europe would be discussed, it is dealt with reservoirs located in the western border of Ukraine with the capacity of over 30bln cu m. "We ground it as the infrastructure elements of the European energy market, which could work for our common concept," Yushchenko stated.
