Iran has exported $8 billion of its various petrochemical products to 60 countries during the last 7 months, Moj News Agency quoted oil deputy minister Abdol-Hossein Bayat.

In the first 7 months of the current Iranian calendar year (started on March 21), Iran has exported 10.5 million tons of various petrochemical products to 60 countries all over the world, Abdol-Hossein Bayat said adding that the exports valued at $8 billion.
Iran's total petrochemicals exports will exceed $12 billion (19 million tons) by the end of the year, Bayat said.
According to him, the exports have increased 11 percent in terms of weight and 34 percent in terms of value over the last year.
Iran's total petrochemicals output will reach 43 million tons by the end of the year, he said.
China, India and various African and European countries are among Iran's major target markets for petrochemical products, Bayat added.
