The amount of gas selected from underground storage facilities in Azerbaijan daily is about 13 million cubic meters as of Nov. 25, compared to more than 7 million cubic meters as of Nov. 14, a source in SOCAR told Trend today.
There are two underground gas storage facilities Kalmaz and Garadagh in Azerbaijan.
"The weather conditions are rather severe," a source said. "This increased gas consumption. Therefore, gas selected from gas storage facility increased."
Over 7 million cubic meters fall to Garadagh and 5.88 million cubic meters to the Kalmaz gas storage facility, a source said.
