The volume of oil processing at the refineries belonging to the Kazakh KazMunaiGas national oil and gas company (Atyrau refinery, Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant,
PetroKazakhstan Oil Products - Shymkent refinery and Petromidia refinery in Romania) by taking into account the share of the company, is expected to be over 16 million tons as of 2013, Managing Director of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, Malik Salimgereyev said at a briefing in Astana on company's development issues.
Oil processing at the KazMunaiGas refinery, taking into account its share, is planned to hit 17.5 million tons, while the growth of the volume will also be provided by the Aktau bitumen plant commissioned this year, according to Salimgereyev.
The production capacity in oil processing, by taking into account the share of KazMunaiGas JSC NC, will amount to 20.5 million tons per year, including domestic refineries - 15.5 million tons and at the Petromidia refinery in Romania - five million tons per year by 2020.
