The Seydi oil refinery in eastern Turkmenistan after reconstruction produced about 100,000 tons of high-octane car fuel, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reported Nov. 22.
LCh-35/11-1000 catalytic reforming unit designed for producing high-octane component used in the production of motor gasoline has been recently launched at the plant.
The unit’s capacity is 500,000 tons of gasoline per year.
The project was implemented by the US company Westport Trading Europe Limited.
“Currently, 92 RON (AI 92) car fuel and diesel fuel produced by the Seydi oil refinery are being exported,” said the report.
