Iranian Cabinet to review executive regulations of petroleum refineries

The Executive Regulations on the Construction of Petroleum Refineries are to be submitted to the Cabinet on December 4, Trend reports citing Mehr News Agency.

A few months ago, the Iranian Parliament approved the plan to build petroleum refineries using public funds, but it needs to be drafted and approved by the government.

Commenting on the latest status of the Petroleum Refinery Regulations, Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Namdar Zanganeh, said: "It's been about a month since we drafted the Executive Regulations and sent them to the government."

Regarding the latest status of the Petroleum Refineries Executive Regulations, an informed source told Mehr News Agency that the regulations of the Petroleum Refineries will be sent to the Cabinet on Wednesday, December 4.

"Of course, that regulation, after being reviewed and approved by the Cabinet, must also be approved by the speaker of parliament,” the source said.
