Some 260,000 barrels of diesel fuel will be put up for sale at the Iran Energy Exchange on December 25, representative of the National Iranian Oil Company Amir Hussein Tibyanian said, Trend reports on Dec. 24 referring to the company's website.
Tibyanian added that the company intends to sell oil products, including diesel fuel, at the Energy Exchange.
The purchased diesel fuel will be available for export from the Mahshahr Export Port in Iran’s south-western Khuzestan province. The purchased diesel will be supplied there on January 10, 2019.
Buyers willing to bid at the initial stage of the sale must pay 10 percent of the purchase to the National Iranian Oil Company in rials at a price of $68.5 per barrel.
