ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, December 15. Turkmenistan sold diesel fuel to businessmen from the British Virgin Islands on its State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange, Trend ereports.
Citing the exchange, British Virgin Islands entrepreneurs have agreed to buy diesel fuel worth more than $14 million.
By the same token, all diesel fuel purchased was produced by Turkmenistan's Turkmennebit State Concern companies.
Furthermore, delegates from Türkiye, Kyrgyzstan, and the UAE spent $535,475 on cotton yarn, dyed terry items, cotton fiber, and regenerated cotton fiber.
Referring to its oil and gas reserves, Turkmenistan is one of the world's leading countries. The country places a high priority on the development of oil and gas refinery facilities, as well as the global distribution of energy resources.
Turkmenistan's State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange was created on July 29, 1994. It is the most important state regulatory authority for export-import transactions.
