ASTANA, Kazakhstan, April 27. Kazakhstan's KazTransOil transported 11.379 million tons of oil separately through its main oil pipeline system from January through March 2024, Trend reports.

According to the company's data, compared to the same period in 2023, the volume of oil transportation increased by 1.03 million tons.

In the structure, the volume of oil transportation to oil refineries in Kazakhstan through the main oil pipeline system of KazTransOil amounted to 4.327 million tons, which is 27,000 tons more than in January-March 2023.

Thus, 1.414 million tons were supplied to the Atyrau oil refinery, 1.36 million tons were supplied to PetroKazakhstan Oil Products, 1.458 million tons were supplied to Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant, and 95,000 tons were supplied to CASPI BITUM.

At the same time, the volume of oil transportation along the Atyrau-Samara section of the Uzen-Atyrau-Samara main oil pipeline amounted to 2.514 million tons, which is 105,000 tons more than in the 1st quarter of 2023.

The section of the TON-2 oil pipeline located on the territory of Kazakhstan transported 2.876 million tons of oil, which is 201,000 tons more compared to the same period in 2023.

In addition, 2.775 million tons of oil were transshipped into the Atasu-Alashankou main oil pipeline. Compared to the first quarter of 2023, the figure increased by 11,000 tons.

Moreover, the volume of oil transshipment into the system of Caspian Pipeline Consortium-K amounted to 1.121 million tons, which is 599,000 tons more than in the 1st quarter of 2023.

Loading oil into tankers in the port of Aktau using capacities KazTransOil amounted to 856,000 tons, which is 172,000 tons more compared to the 1st quarter of 2023.

Meanwhile, the volume of oil transportation separately through the main oil pipeline system of Kazakhstan's KazTransOil JSC amounted to 44.188 million tons of oil, which is 3.532 million tons more than in 2022.
