ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, May 8. Turkmenistan plans to build a large number of residential buildings in the Parahat-7 residential complex, located in Ashgabat city, Trend reports.
According to an official source, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree authorizing ministries, departments, and the municipality of Ashgabat to conclude contracts with local construction companies for the design and construction of 10 residential buildings in the capital's Parahat-7 residential complex with landscaping of adjacent territories.
The complex will also feature four nine-story residential buildings with 54 apartments, two nine-story residential buildings with 72 apartments each, and modern four-story residential buildings with 36 apartments.
The document prescribes to begin construction work in May 2024 and to hand over the facilities with full readiness for operation in September 2026.
The implementation of the 'Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country in 2022–2028' includes planned construction works.
Meanwhile, as part of the strategy for developing building construction and infrastructure improvement in Turkmenistan, the focus is on comprehensive support for residential and commercial construction, as well as renovation of existing facilities.
In this context, the emphasis is on the introduction of innovative technologies, the development of specialist skills in architecture, engineering, and construction, as well as attracting investments and establishing partnerships with international construction companies in order to ensure sustainable economic growth and increase the level of comfort for the population.
